We can create decks out of our 150mm frame profile in a heavier/thicker grade of steel and with a more durable galvanised coating as possibly a more cost-effective alternative to timber.

NB, making decks out of light gauge steel will eventually corrode over time.  So our framing used for decking is not guaranteed.

You should paint the framing with a high zinc content paint and check it every few months and touch the paint up if necessary.  And you should also put some DPC (Damp Proof Course) between the decking materials and the steel decks as some materials, particularly if they are treated as they may react with the steel.
